About us
Based in the Scottish Highlands, Steve Robertson offers relaxed and practical bass guitar lessons through Hi Pulse Bass. Drawing on over twenty years of experience playing and teaching music around the UK, his approach focuses on developing solid technique, good timing, and confidence on the instrument.
Steve has played at venues including King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut in Glasgow, The Water Rats in London, Aberdeen Music Hall, Belladrum Festival, and the former Ironworks in Inverness. His lessons are designed for players of all levels, encouraging creativity, groove, and enjoyment in every session.
Alongside teaching and performing, Steve helps support the local music community through Musicians Exchange Highland — a non-profit group promoting collaboration and access to music education across the region.
